Mr. Bailey is Regional Director of Forest Operations for the Southern Region with reporting responsibility to the Senior VP Forest Operations in overseeing the on-the-ground management activities for approximately 890,000 acres in the region.

Prior to his employment with TFG in 2016, Mr. Bailey served seventeen years as a Forester and GIS/Data Specialist for American Forest Management, Inc.  Mr. Bailey’s responsibilities included property management, GIS operations and mapping, forest inventory and auditing, and data management.

Mr. Bailey has a B.S. and M.S. in Forestry from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Tennessee Forestry Association and is an active member of the Society of American Foresters where he has served as East Tennessee Chapter Chair and Treasurer as well as the Secretary/Treasurer, and Newsletter Editor for the Kentucky-Tennessee State Region. Recipient of the 2020 SAF President’s Award for Outstanding Field Forester. Mr. Bailey is also a proud Veteran of the United States Army.
