The Forestland Group, LLC today announced the sale of the 6,746-acre Ward Tract in Fayette County in south central West Virginia to the National Park Service (NPS) as an addition to the New River Gorge National Recreation Area. This transaction received the strong support of the West Virginia Congressional delegation under the leadership of Senator Robert Byrd.
