Chapel Hill, NC (September 1, 2006).  The Forestland Group, LLC announced today the promotion of Kaarsten Turner Dalby to Senior Director of Ecological Services.  In her new position, Kaarsten will oversee forest certification and manage the firm’s efforts to generate increased revenues from such sources as the sale of carbon credits, leasing wind-energy rights, and the sale of working-forest conservation easements.  Kaarsten started with The Forestland Group as an intern in July 1998.
