Chapel Hill, NC (August 31, 2005).  The Forestland Group, LLC announced today the recent purchase by Heartwood Forestland Fund V, L.P. of the 43,401-acre Fordyce Property in southern Arkansas from Plum Creek Timberlands, L.P.  This property consists largely of bottomland hardwoods dominated by oak species.
